Pregnancy Massage
On successful completion of this course, you will be able to perform pregnancy massage on a client.
This course consists of theory and practical training.
Pregnancy massage is a treatment designed with special consideration for the client’s needs during pregnancy. Students will learn a series of techniques that can be soothing to alleviate stress or slightly stimulating to improve circulation and address non-medical concerns. You will also be trained in preparing special equipment and setting up the massage bed to ensure maximum comfort and relaxation for the client during the treatment.
Upon successful completion of all assessments, students will receive a certificate in pregnancy massage from Hyde Park College of Skin and Body Therapy.
Prerequisites: Students must have previously studied, completed, and passed anatomy of the whole body and body massage.
